This is the tweeter mounting ring on a 993, I've crimped the supplied small male spade connectors to the factory tweeter wire, using the wire with the black strip as the negative when I connect to the tweeter.  Wrap a small piece of electrical tape around each connector once connected to the tweeter to prevent the bare portion of the connectors from touching each other when you reinstall the tweeter. The other end of these wires is already close enough to where you'll mount the crossover on the door panel, (later covered by map pocket when installed).

The above picture shows the crossover mounted to the door panel.  This is a 993 with the Hi Fi option, so the mounting is a bit different for the 964 and 993 with standard systems.  In the standard door panels, you'll want to locate the crossover so that it is covered by the map pocket when the map pocket is reinstalled.   On the Hi-Fi door panels like these, make sure you cover the large holes with some tape (such as duct tape, black looks more classy than silver!) so that you don't have ventilation through the odd shaped grills on the large map pocket/speaker covers.  On the standard door panels, just make sure you've got the right mounting location before you drill the hole to route speaker wires and mount the crossover.

The above picture shows poorly designed Nokia enclosure that's mounted on the doors of the 993 with the Hi Fi option.  I remove these and mount real speakers right on the door, which is similar to the standard door panel once you remove this enclosure

Here is another photo of the enclosure panels mounted.  Observe which is left (driver's side) and right (they're marked on the back) when you mount them.  Wiggle them and use a fist to move then in as far and tightly as possible before driving screws in.  Check the instruction booklet for more details.
