Amplifier Connections on 1975-1989 911:

This picture shows the amplifier installed and wired, and I've used zip ties to bundle the wires together somewhat neatly.  Look at this and next couple of pages to see more of the amplifier installation process.

In this picture, I've connected the 8 gauge power wire, with fuse holder, to the positive terminal of the battery.  On the amplifier wire's ring terminal for the battery, I've snipped out a notch so that I can simply loosen the 10mm nut on the positive battery terminal and install the ring terminal without having to remove the nut completely (see next picture for detail).Once you connect this, make sure that the other end is already connected to the amplifier, or you'll have a loose, live wire laying on the floor of your car if it's not yet connected.
