It was 2006 and we decided that it was
time to move into a larger location!
(We moved our store to Suite H in the same shopping center, into 4400 square feet to accomodate tremendous growth and business.)

Here's the new location before we started working on it.

Here is the initial framework for the wall separating the installation and office areas from the showroom. The Soundrooms also have sturdy walls which received special acoustical drywall later.
After mighty struggles with a few engineers and architects, the mighty requirements for a tenant improvement permit in the city of Roseville, we finally got the okay and employed a wonderful contractor-Parker D. Severaid. With our buddy Stephen doing most of the demo and construction, we were looking good even in the early stages. Later on Rod and Linda spent Sundays painting the new shop, laying floor in the showroom, setting stuff up in general. Mr. Richard Van Roo lent us a mighty hand with helping move the shop and build out the new digs to accomodate our operations. This saved us downtime, plus we had hardworking employees/coworkers, reps, and just nice customers all the time working around us as we moved and setup the new shop-thankyou everyone involved!

This picture shows how the new sign looks at night. Inside it's still pretty bare.

Here's how our showroom looks at night with the main lights off. Our new counters are finally set up!

This is a shot showing the rear of the store, two rooms which later became the woodshop and a hallway to the bathroom. The counter in the foreground was later removed with a sawzall wielded by CAI employees. The floor beneath showed linoleum and stripes from the floor of the Sears store which used to occupy this same space many years ago.

Now we've got all of this room, but man it sure seems to fill up quite a bit!

We're delighted with our larger showroom, please come by and check it out if you are local and have a chance!
