The Shop:
March-June 2000 Getting ready to open!
(The shop is officially open now, as of July 23, 2000)

The above picture shows the front of the new shop location at 212-D Harding Blvd., Roseville. It's in Harding Plaza near MacFrugals, right off I-80 and Douglas Blvd., one block from Lead Hill.

This is the rear of my shop, viewed from the rear parking lot. These are the guys who came out to cut a hole in the concrete wall for my new roll up door. A noisy wet-blade saw that rides on a track that is bolted to the wall (more pictures available!!!) ;-P made 4 cuts and covered the walls inside with slurry.

Here is the same wall as viewed from inside the shop (future installation bay), and he's unbolting the last portion of track from the wall.

They tied a rope to an eye mounted on the slab and yanked it out with the truck. Man, you should have heard the "bang" when that thing hit the ground. I tried to get a "middair" shot, but my shutter went too late! They placed tires to cushion the wall when it hit, but somehow managed to place them right where the existing man-door opening was! Oopsie.

Here's the roll up door mounted in place over the new opening. Yahoo! It's starting to look like an installation bay already! The door is 9x10', but the area is actually 20' wide once you pull in past the bathroom (on the right there).
