The Woodie Show Car

Mike Gray of Advanced Restorations built this Ford Woodie wagon. Check out Mike's shop at www.advancedrestorations.com This car is a 10/10ths car.

Here it is.  Also referred to as "The Rose" and featured in major magazines.  This car is just an incredible creation with real wood, authentic Ford engine and drivetrain.

Here is the car as featured at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, 2006, near the Monkeemobile.

Here's a shot of the dash with the Pioneer double din indash headunit we installed.  This unit holds 6 CD's or DVD's!

Here is the rear of the Woodie.  Another shop constructed the sub enclosure and amp rack, then our installer Matt created the video and center piece along the top, featuring the Surf Rod logo as well!

Here is the sign featuring our shop's name as well as Matt's, since he did most of the work.  I (Rod) do remember spending one late night at Mike Gray's shop trying to help finish some of the details (wiring and mounting, assembling) also with Chris Merrill's assistance.

Matt fabricated these door speaker pods with integrated amrests. (!) The owners were very happy with what Matt did.  Great job Matt!  Thanks again Mike for the opportunity to help with another of your show cars!  It sure was rewarding to see this car at the SEMA show!
