1999 Porsche 996 Coupe
Santiago called us from San Jose to find out what we could do for his 1999 Porsche 996 coupe. After finding out what he was looking for, we picked up his car and got to work. We performed some installation work as well as custom fabrication work on his car, and I sent email with digital pictures of the process. He grew more and more excited with the pictures I sent, and he was really delighted when he drove up to Roseville to pick it up.

These photos show Santiagos door panels before (left) and after (right) we modified the stock door panels and fabricated some custom grilles. This car didnt have the "hi fi" option from the factory, so it had that map pocket instead of the stock speaker location. We were able to save Santiago about $1500 since he didnt have to buy the new "hi fi" door panels at $900 each(!).

The top photo shows the rear shelf of the Porsche 996 coupe, and the lower photo shows Santiagos car after installation of the custom rear enclosure. This enclosure holds one single 8" sub and a recessed CD changer. We can also build an enclosure to hold dual 8" subwoofers.

This photo shows the enclosure with the grill and CD changer access panel both in place. Like the door panels, the grill for the subwoofer was fabricated to reflect the "elliptical" theme of the Porsche 996 interior. The grill is easily removable, allowing access to the subwoofer should any service requirements arise.

This photo shows the subwoofer grill and the CD changer access panel removed.
Thank you Santiago, we really enjoyed working on your car!
