Rob's Mini Cooper Clubman

Rob wanted to check us out and see what we could do to improve the sound in his Mini.

Rob has this sweet looking Mini Cooper Clubman.  This has cargo space and looks track-ready!

We managed to install a nice set of Hertz 3-way Hi Energy series component speakers in the doors, with woofer, midrange and tweeter.  An array of drivers is always the best!  When you have a subwoofer, as we do in this car, you have a true 4-way system, with individual drivers which only have to work in their own specific range-where they sound best.  Yowza.

Now look at that.  This is one beautiful amplifier, the Audison LRX 5.1k, with ample power and the purest sound.  Here it is found in its natural habitat, a clean, tasteful presentation with matching vinyl wrapped trim panel and a glossy painted trim bezel that mimics contours on the door panels.  The grill cloth allows the subwoofer in its custom subwoofer enclosure to sound phenomenal.

And look at that now, the factory floor panel fits in place still, concealing and protecting some invaluable sonic assets.

This certainly wasn't the most cosmetically integrated mounting of an Audison Bit One controller-but Rob wanted functionality and proximity, with minimal alteration of the dashification.
