Lexus SC300
Ryan brought his 1997 Lexus SC300 to us so that we could improve the sound. He had some very ambitious "custom" work in his trunk, but the sound quality was very poor and he had zero trunk space.
The prior system involved some 2x4’s (!), vinyl, Liquid Nails, expanding foam, silicone, and screws. We had to chisel and scrape much of this from the car. Yikes.
We lined the entire trunk with foam for sound absorption.
Below, we fabricated a custom sub enclosure for the Image Dynamics IDQ12’s, and built custom panels for all sides and the floor, flush mounting the equipment he already had, and leaving some room for stowing items in the trunk. Whew, what a project! Thanks Ryan!!!
