Jaguar Super V8

David brought his Jaguar by and we took a look at improving the sound quality of the factory system.  We recommend interfacing with his factory headunit/radio, installing a JL Audio Cleansweep processor, some summing devices, aux input and subwoofer volume knob.  This feeds clean signal into an Audison LRX6.9 6 channel amplifier driving upgraded Hertz Hi Energy component speakers and a shallow Kenwood Excelon subwoofer in the trunk.

This isn't a very good picture, but it is a beautiful car.  The rear passengers have something like the fold down tray table of an airplane, headrest video monitors, all from the factory.  The rear legroom is stretched out on this long wheelbase Jag.

Just a few devices to effect proper integration with the factory headunit and factory amplifier.  Through all of this we achieve full range, high bit and equalized clean signal for our new amplifier and speakers.  Yowza.

This is the trunk layout, showing the panel built to cover the Audison amplifier.  The shallow Kenwood Excelon subwoofer allows full spare tire access while still attaining proper air volume and a solid subwoofer cabinet.  This car sounds good.  Really good.

Thank you David, enjoy that sweet ride!
