2007 Mini Cooper
Emily brought her Mini to us after learning about our work from her friend Andy (our regular customer and friend). Emily drove a couple of hours to us from the SF Bay Area so we could work some magic.

Look at this beautiful car! Emily takes great care of this sweet little machine, and she takes excellent pictures too-check out the Lake Merced backdrop! Thank you for the picture Emily!

Okay, so now we pulled the car apart. ;) We applied dampening mat extensively throughout the car, requiring removal of much of the interior, door panels and power window assemblies.

Here's one shot of the inside of Emily's door. The removal of the window assembly and glass is involved, and requires alignment of the glass when we're all done.

Here's a picture showing the Audison amplifier and Kenwood Excelon shallow subwoofer. The ampifier powers this subwoofer as well as some Hertz High Energy component speakers in the doors and 6x9 speakers in the rear speaker locations. We retained the factory headunit and integrated a JL Audio Cleansweep to provide clean, processed 24 bit signal from the factory heaudnit for the Audison amplifier. This setup rocks!

Here's a picture showing the cover panel in place with our CAI logo. There is steel mesh and acoustical transparent (breathable) carpet over the subwoofer and amplifier so that the sub sounds great and the amp doesn't overheat. We also added a fan for the amplifier to ensure air movement through the amplifier area.

Here's a picture showing the panel lifted to reveal the amp and subwoofer. The steel mesh is strong enough to support cargo, groceries, or Emily's dog walking around on the cover panel!

One more shot of Emily's car-another great example of Emily's photography skills indeed!
Emily-you're the coolest, thank you for entrusting us with your sweet ride!!!
