2005 Nissan 350Z
Cory wanted to upgraded the sound system in his gorgeous 350Z, so Matt discussed options with him and put together a nice system with some custom touches.

Man what a sweet looking car!

(Cory brought his car to us and we tore it apart. hehe. Every single interior panel and fastener went back together just as it was originally assembled. Our job involves removing things like car seats and consoles every day. Door panels are no match for guys who've taken apart the interiors of many, many vehicles!)
With a couple of nice ARC Audio amplifiers and a pair of 8” ARC audio subs in a box in the original sub location, we had clean power and smooth bass.

(Here's how Cory's dash looked after the installation. We used a JL Audio Cleansweep to process the signal from the headunit, improve the response, then fed a DQS by Audio Control to fine tune it. Plus, the amps have fully adjustable crossovers, and the Focal door speakers have great adjustment over their respective levels.)
We also mounted a set of Focal Polykevlar K2P component speakers in the doors with a custom tweeter pod molded into each sail panel. The doors and entire rear of the car were treated with a layer of Roadkill Extreme dampening mat. Matting the doors properly involves removing the glass and motor assembly on this car and its cousin the G35.

(Here's a shot showing the Focal tweeter after we "built up" the factory sail panel. The tweeter is flush mounted in place of the tiny tweeter with small opening that would never accomodate a real tweeter like the incredible TN52)

This is what the amp rack looked like when Matt was done. He went for a two-tone look to duplicate the seat colors. The amps and capacitor are trimmed by vinyl wrapped panels.

Cory was really happy with the results, thank you Cory!
