Jeep Rubicon

Bill dropped by the store to look at options for his Jeep Rubicon.  This is a beautiful machine in perfect shape that he drives only for pleasure.

Here is Bill's Rubicon getting "the treatment" from Tony, Carl and Charlie.  I (Rod) even joined in with the amplifier wiring in the rear of the Jeep since Bill needed this done in one day.  We installed a 5 channel amplifier by Audison, connected to the outputs of the factory ampifier, upgraded all speakers and the factory subwoofer, all with quality Hertz and Kenwood Excelon components.

The amplifier fit into the compartment in the rear floor of the Jeep, under a cover.

Here's a shot of the rear of the Rubicon as we worked on it.  You can see the factory subwoofer enclosure with a new Kenwood Excelon shallow mount 8" subwoofer, which is now receiving ample power from a real amplifier.  The factory amplifier and subwoofer, like all oem units, were lightweight and ineffective.

Here's a close-up of the Kenwood subwoofer.  We're next going to build a custom box using this sub and an identical one in a ported configuration, since our buddy Bill is happy but would like even more bass!
