2009 Mercedes GLK350
Andrew visited us and wanted to look into upgrading the sound quality of his new Mercedes. We've worked on lots of different Mercedes models over the years, but this was an entirely new one to us. This thing looks cool!

Here it is in the shop. This is a sporty ride with a nice, luxurious interior. The color, the wheels, man-this thing looks sweet.

Alright, 'time to get busy. Carl busted out the protective plastic film, since he knew we'd be working in the rear, with fiberglass, and we want to keep this thing clean and new.

Here's what the rear floor looked like when Carl was done. This installation features a fiberglass enclosure for the Hertz HX250 10" subwoofer, the Audison LRX5.1k (!) amplifier, an Audison Bit One processor, and Hertz MLK165 front speakers, all run in active mode!

Look at the Bit One controller mount. Tony effected this and achieved a nice fit that allows the ashtray door to move freely and close.

See? Now you can't even see the Audison Bit One controller!

Oh yeah, Carl managed to build a new "floor" and utilized the factory hardware from the original floor panel. This one has an integrated grill and allows the subwoofer and amplifier to "breathe" properly, while sturdy enough for cargo!

One last picture of Andrew's sweet ride. This was one of the best sounding cars we've done. Period. One representative of Elettromedia was at our store and heard the vehicle, tweaked settings on the Bit One to saved the settings for optimized time delay from the driver's seat. He was also super-impressed by the sound quality in this MBZ!
Thanks Andrew-good work Carl and Tony!
