2000 Porsche 996 Cabriolet
Alan drives a 2000 Porsche 996 cabriolet, with the top down whenever possible. Alan's previous daily driver was a 1996 Porsche 993 cabriolet which we performed the full "the system" installation in. When Alan sold his 993, he called us up to install another system, this time in the 996.
Alan opted for the latest Kenwood revolving MASK face head unit, along with a Kenwood 10 disc changer in the trunk. The fit is perfect, and the face revolves to show just a blank panel that blends very well with the dash.
In Alan's trunk we installed an MTX Thunder 405 amplifier, with 5 channels of power to run the Focal 3 way separates (all mounting in factory locations behind factory grills), Focal rear speakers, and dual 8" subwoofers in the Car Audio Innovations subwoofer enclosures (picture below), which are constructed of fiberglass and covered with factory carpet.
