Lloyd brought his BMW to us and told us about a previous high end system that he had been really happy with. We discussed equipment by Image Dynamics, ARC Audio, Pioneer, and Focal, and ended up installing some nice equipment, and re-using some Soundstream Exact subs he had.

One ARC Audio 2100 to run the subs, and an ARC 4050 to run mids and highs, and we re-used Lloyd’s cap from a previous installation. It was a shame that the amps were hidden on the back of the box, they look so nice!

Lloyd was most interested in function over form, so no fancy schmancy trim panels, just a basic box. Okay, so we countersunk the subwoofers. ;) The box is a rigid, solid box of exactly .5 cubic feet per sub, stuffed, lined, braced, glued and screwed.

We mounted the Focal crossovers to the original amplifier bracket, for a clean installation.
